Infectious diseases are those diseases that are caused by bacteria, virus, fungus, parasites or other microorganisms. These diseases may be transmitted vectors or directly between animals, some of which from animals to humans (Zoonosis).
Unfortunately some of these diseases require hospitalization of your pet, and for that the hospital has a special hospitalization ward with isolation to admit pets with infectious diseases. This way we are able to control the disease and protect other admitted animals as well as those involved in the pet’s treatment in those cases when the disease is transmissible to humans.
