Internal Medicine

Internal Medicine is the medical specialty that evaluates the patient as whole.

 

The specialist in Internal medicine (Internist) is the master of differential diagnosis (study and diagnosis of diseases and it’s causes), providing diagnosis and treatment from the most common to the rarest or the most difficult to diagnose of diseases.

 

The internist is most of the times, the first to contact the patient in our hospital, in an emergency situation or during ambulatory clinical visits, and also the one responsible for the study/guidance of hospitalized clinical cases.

 

Every veterinarian doctor in our hospital have a high level of knowledge in internal medicine, providing our clinical staff permanent up-to-date tools, since internal medicine is the one specialty where most of the other specialties are originated from. Having every auxiliary means of diagnosis available, makes it an added value to the success of treatment and recovery of our patients.
