In 1979 was admitted to the Army QP where for several years he served as chief of clinical functions and Small Animal Surgery at the Military Veterinary Hospital.
He is Chairman of APMVEAC (Portuguese Veterinarians Association Specialists Company of Animals).
Member of the Portuguese Kennel Club Technical Committee.
Made a PAGE management of veterinary clinics at the Catholic University of Lisbon.
Attends each year several training courses, both in Portugal and abroad.
